UniCon Team

UniCon Latvia events and activities do not limit themselves to an annual convention format, but also organize other type of entertainment, educational and social events.

WinterCon - one day long winter convention usually held in late December.

"UniCon Club Games Evenings" take place every month, so that everyone interested can participate and play tabletop games.

"UniCon Club Arts Workshops" also take place every month, giving youth a platform to draw and creatively express themselves.

"UniCon Club Meet-ups" community outdoor gatherings, usually held during warm weather.

We also particiapte and assist in such events as: "Dreamflash Riga", e-sports tournaments, public lectures, "Riga Latvian Society" events, Riga, Cesis and other Municipality events, foreign multigenre and anime conventions and many other things.

All these awesome events requires effort and hard work of all our volunteer staff members:

Sergey "Parva" Parvatkin UniCon CEO aka Tyrantosaurus In UniCon: since 2012 One of UniCon Latvia founders. Has a very boring personality, as he is a certified lawyer (Better Call Parva). Participates and leads various NGOs in field of education, e-sports and civil society. In his spare time works as research assistant in Riga Graduate School of Law. Enjoys traveling and meeting awesome people all over the world (especially on comic cons and legal conferences). Konstantin "Grand Elf" Yegorov Human Resource Executive, Hand of the King, ex-VP of UniCon 1996-2013 In UniCon: 2012-2013 A wonderful person who left us too soon. Son, grandson, a beloved friend. Konstantin was a very responsive young man, who saw the best in people and was always eager to help them. He made an invaluable contribution to UniCon by bringing lots of people into the project and inspiring them to greater achievements. He continues to live in our hearts and we will always remember him and his enthusiasm. Sleep well, our dear friend.
