TWITCH.TV Day: 2nd of August Time: 15:00 Place: Main Stage Presentation and Streaming Area! During both days of event you will find top three Latvian streamers in dedicated Twitch livestreaming area where you will be able to watch them in action. Also various events, interview and small, fun game tournaments will take place over the couch area of Twitch section that will be broadcasted to UniCon official Twitch page. You will also have a chance to see gaming artwork exhibition from MissCoookiez in the area! During the second day of the event there will be presentation and discussion about Livestreaming on Twitch.tv.
Basic Liquid Latex Panel and Shiny Armor Panel Day: 2nd of August Time: 14:00 Place: Main Stage By Tine Marie Riis: Hello everyone! During my stay at UniCon, I plan on having 1 panel that includes basic latex casting for minor things. For example stuff to add to your body, such like fins, spikes on your shoulders, or whatever you might need it for! I will teach you the mold process, casting process, and how to take care of your latex pieces. It is quite a fun process, and it have always worked on the latex pieces that I've casted, so hopefully you guys will learn something new from this! Right after my latex panel, I plan on showing how you can make your armor super smooth. I will not go into much details here as I would love you guys to come and see/hear for yourself. But I used the method for my latest cosplay, Valkyrie Leona. I am going to bring my Fin molds as it will take too long to actually make a mold, wait until it hardens, and then go on with the process, but I have a powerpoint with me that will go through all of the different phases. Dulcinea Cosplay Day: 2nd of August Time: 12:10 Place: Presentation Hall By I have prepared a panel about working with material that I like the most, and also the one that so many people ask me about often, "you should do a panel on pvc foam board", they say. I have listened and even though already did a short one in Lithuania, I am now delivering a full, 45 minutes long panel to UniCon in English about working with PVC foam board: cutting, sanding, thermoforming, glueing, painting and anything else you need to know about this material and its usage for cosplay. If you are a cosplayer that desperately needs to learn making some incredibly smooth looking armor or weapons from affordable materials - this panel is for you. The panel will cover all the basics but is aimed towards a cosplayer that has tried making some armor or weapon props before, as it does not teach armor pattern making and is focused towards working with PVC foam board with a help of tools and supporting materials.

Introduction to the Japanese language Day: 1st of August Time: 15:00 Place: Presentation Hall Japanese-English Language School (JELSCHOOL) has been teaching Japanese in Tallinn, Estonia for 6 years and this time we are coming to UniCon / Riga with a short lecture "Introduction to the Japanese Language". No preliminary knowledge is necessary, come and learn some new facts about this beautiful language with a native speaker. The lecture is held in English and lasts for one hour.
Geek Camp Podcast Day: 2nd of August Time: 17:00 Place: Presentation Hall During the whole UniCon you will be able to find the guys from GeekCamp Podcast to talk about newest games/events/movies in a special GeekCamp located on the main floor. You will be able to play some boardgames with us and exchange opinions on what's going on in the geek world. Or maybe you will be able to participate in our interviews and help us to forge the voice of the geeks in baltic states!
